Why is the country information in the analytics different when using a proxy behind the edge?

In the Analytics, we provide a list of countries with the most searches. However, if you use a proxy behind the edge, we cannot identify the original user who made the request. As a result, the Analytics dashboard will only show the country information based on the proxy IP location.

This means that if a significant number of requests are routed through a proxy, the country data in your analytics may reflect the location of the proxy server rather than the actual locations of your users.
